Dr. Adewumi, Adeniyi JohnPaul
Adewumi Adeniyi JohnPaul is currently a Lecturer II in the Department of Geological Sciences, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, Achievers University, Nigeria. He obtained a B. Tech (Hons) in Applied Geology, M. Tech in Applied Geology specializing in Geological Remote Sensing. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate at the Department of Earth Sciences at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria where his research focuses on Environmental and Medical Geology. He has published fourteen (14) scientific articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals. He has also presented eight (8) papers at both local and international conferences. He is a reviewer to some international scientific journals. He won a grant to help support his participation in the Goldschmidt2018 conference held in Boston, USA and got a commendation letter from Achievers University Nigeria. He was a visiting scholar to the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Geochemistry (SKLEG), Institute of Geochemistry, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang China between October 2017 to January 2018 after winning a grant for a collaborative research His research focus is on the impact and risk assessment of mining on geological media.
